AST is looking for experienced translators specializing in computer software/hardware/website localization. However, this is not enough. You must have a broad background -ideally, you should have an additional degree or specialization, e.g., medical, biotechnology, marketing, law, aerospace, etc. If you are not a experienced lingüist, don't send your data. If you are an experienced lingüist, but you don't fulfill the requirements outlined above, or alternatively, you're not familiarized with concepts such as "cnt file", "rc", "index marker", "$ footnote", or "localization", please don't send your data.	AST busca traductores experimentados especializados en localización de software/hardware/sitios web. Pero esto no es suficiente. You should be aware of the fact that most of the documents you translate in MS Word have actually been exported from other file formats (other applications). Applications such as UltraEdit, a non-WYSIWYG webpage editor, and/or FrameMakerare a plus -though you don't need to have them. Ideally, you should have a fax machine, and be able to use FTP.	Es recomendable que tengas un fax, y que puedas usar FTP.
You must be able to communicate in written English.	Debes poder comunicarte, al menos de forma escrita, en inglés.
You must be able to perform team work.	Debes poder trabajar en grupo.
